How to Get Free Stuff from Amazon.com (Seriously)

I have a bit of a secret that exposes Amazon.com and allows you to get pretty much whatever you want for free. If you've ever wondered who these people are leaving reviews on products you want to buy saying they were sent the item for free, well that could be you, and this post is going to show you how.
But first, why the heck would anyone want to give you something for free? It's because of something called FBA. Amazon has recently made it extremely easy for anyone to sell products that are warehoused and shipped through Amazon, but in order for those products to sell well, they need to have a lot of reviews. That's pretty much it. Hundreds of new products are being offered on Amazon everyday and almost all of them can be given to you for free!
There are two ways to get things for free, the first is by being part of Amazon's invite only "Vine Voice" community. Which is kind of hard to be honest as you need to build up a ton of helpful and detailed reviews and get invited. But don't' worry, the 2nd way I'm going to show you anyone can do.
I know a lot of digital nomads with products on Amazon, and they all use a service called Tomoson to find people...yup, just normal people like you and me to send their items for free. They usually either give you a 100% off coupon code for their product, or they have you buy it on Amazon normally and they reimburse you for it.
Either way, just leave a review and wah-la, get whatever you want for free. Here are some examples of free stuff you can get just by leaving a review.
Here are three easy steps to sign up and get started:
1. Make a profile at Tomoson.com
2. Connect your facebook and twitter accounts.
3. Create a Your Own Blog.
There are now a ton of Amazon review sites popping up, I haven't used them all but all of them are the same concept. People are selling products on Amazon and want reviews in exchange for free or discounted products.
Here is one I just signed up for that doesn't even require a blog or a twitter, they just want the amazon review.
Let me know when you get your first package! If I lived in the U.S. and it wasn't such a pain in the butt getting things delivered to Thailand I would absolutely take advantage of Amazon on a daily basis.
Honestly, it's almost a good thing I'm not as I'm trying to live minimalistically and travel light.

ReplyDeleteHey Joe, if you google it you might come up with stuff like, buy more twitter followers on fiverr, which I wouldn't do as it's not a good idea in the long run as you want to actually add some real value and reach real people.

ReplyDeleteIt depends on the seller, but if you're in the U.S. usually the answer is yes. If you're international, the answer is almost always no as they can just find someone else to review.

DeleteBusinesses have to pay to be on Tomoson to give away their products for review. Bloggers just get stuff for free in exchange for reviews.

I've a question in mind, for those amazon reviews are the products shipped by amazon? Cause when I try and checkout the products amazon tells me they can't be shipped to my address. I live in Singapore, how do I go around that?

You could use a service like https://www.shipito.com/ but honestly it's probaly not worth it.

I signed up for a review program called VIPU review program which sent me a lot of different product that they sell in GREAT DISCOUNT including iPhone screen protectors, iPhone cases and even phone car chargers. I would look for more programs like that to save money

ReplyDeleteI think its pretty amazing what you can do if you fully take advantage of amazon. Amazon prime is phenomenal, and so are all the other companies amazon has partnerships with for the most part. Amazon has a great buyback program for a bunch of things like used books and movies and I use https://www.bonavendi.com/ when I wanna sell anything like this because they have a partnership with Amazon and tons of other vendors included in their price comparison so you know you are getting the best deals. Really happy this company is around and this article was really informative, even though the title makes it sound too good to be true! Great job Johnny, keep up the good work.
