Day one was awesome, I had already met a lot of members here in Chiang Mai and at PunSpace prior to the event, but all of the sudden there were people rolling in luggage, and getting off of their 18 hour flight coming straight to the event.

Anton opened the event and told everyone how excited he was that over 100 people flew in from all around the world to come and introduced the guest speakers for the weekend.

I gave a talk on optimizing for conversions and ended it with a to do list for people to implement right away during the openoffice session.  The coolest part is seeing everyone cowork, help each other out and get to know each other.

Heather Jacoby I had no idea what to expect walking in but I definitely wasn't expecting that. Amazing! I have so much more knowledge. so many more ideas and I have met so many awesome people who genuinely want to help everyone succeed. I love that! What an awesome group of people, speakers and mentors.

So much great content today from the speakers, now I have a huge to do list.  The Elephant Nature park was awesome.  It was my first time there but is now on my must dos in Chiang Mai list if anyone ever comes out here.

Wow this was such an epic week.  I'd love to go into more detail about all of the talks, the meetups, dinners, networking lunches, awesome activities and the great people I met, but honestly, I'm exhausted. If you want to know a bit more about the retreat, take a listen to Episode 52 of the podcast where I sit down with Riley and Parker, two of the guests from the retreat.

If you want to come next year to the Dropship Lifestyle Retreat, I'd suggest you join Anton's program today and start working towards it, that way you'll have something up and running before the next one in announced.

This was seriously one of the most awesome times of my life, and the learning and networking from this event was like packing an entire MBA Program into 5 days.

See you guys next year!

  1. Nice post! Wish I could be there. Hoping some info gets shared on the forums. I'm surprised at the 20x monthly profit sales price. In my day-job industry, we sell profitable businesses for 5x annual ebitda. So more like 60x months. 20 doesn't seem like selling yourself short.

  2. Hey Moddie, hope to see you out here next year! Anton is planning on putting all of the videos (with the speaker's approval) in the members area for everyone. They did mention the ratio can be 20x-25x but wow 60x sounds incredible. I also feel the same, I'd almost rather just wait out 17 months and like it coast for the hassle of selling it.
